Several masked and armed men entered the bar in which UN staff members were celebrating New Year's eve, witnesses confirmed, adding a Palestinian guard was beaten up and tied up.
The attackers forced the club's guests to leave the building before they blew up the entrance hall of the building, the witnesses said.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
Under Islamic law, the consumption of alcohol is strictly forbidden. Enditem
