Chyichin New Year concert tragedy

    BEIJING, Jan. 1 -- The drummer Huang Jianfu accidently fell from the stage and was later declared dead during veteran Taiwan singer Chyichin's New Year's Eve concert at Beijing Capital Gymnasium last night.

    The tragedy happened while singing a song with Chyichin towards the end of the concert.     

    Chyinchin expressed his deepest regrets and sorrow about the accident at a press conference held at the hospital later. ĦĦMore details have not yet been released.     

    Huang Jianfu is a famous drummer in Taiwan, previously named recipient of the "Best Original Film Score" award at the Golden Horse Awards.
