www.chinaview.cn 2005-12-30 08:40:58

BEIJING, Dec. 30 -- Mariah Carey's "Don't Forget About Us" led the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart for a second week Thursday, while rookie R&B singer Chris Brown's former chart-topper "Run It" held at No. 2.

Nelly's "Grillz" (which features Paul Wall and Ali & Gip) and D4L's "Laffy Taffy" kept the No. 3 and No. 4 positions, respectively. Nickelback's "Photograph" rose one to No. 5, swapping places with the Pussycat Dolls' "Stickwitu."

Beyonce's "Check On It" featuring Slim Thug rose one place to No. 7. In its 24th week on the chart -- including 10 at No. 1 -- Kanye West's "Gold Digger" featuring Jamie Foxx continued its slow descent with a one-place fall to No. 8.

Juelz Santana's "There It Go! (The Whistle Song)" and the Black Eyed Peas' "My Humps" rounded out the top 10, each up one place.

A day after her latest album "The Breakthrough" opened at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, Mary J. Blige's "Be Without You" rocketed eight places to No. 12 on the Hot 100.

The Hot 100's top debut was Relient K's "Who I Am Hates Who I've Been" at No. 92. Also new were Gorillaz's "Dare" featuring Shaun Ryder (No. 97) and Young Jeezy's "My Hood" (No. 99).
