Putin's liberal economic advisor resigns

    MOSCOW, Dec. 27 (Xinhuanet) -- Presidential economic advisor Andrei Illarionov, who is known for his liberal remarks on some of the Kremlin's economic policies, has resigned, the Interfax news agency reported on Tuesday.

    "I have tendered my resignation as a presidential economic advisor and handed it to my employer," Illarionov told a press conference in Moscow. Enditem
