    BEIJING, Dec. 27 -- "We Are The Champions" by Queen has been voted the greatest song of all-time in a huge global poll of music fans.

    The survey across 66 different countries questioned 700,000 people, asking them their favourite track from the history of pop music.

    Queen came out ahead of Britney Spears, Michael Jackson, Nirvana, U2 and The Beatles in the poll, which was also ranked by individual countries.

Top 10 greatest song of all-time

1. "We Are The Champions" -- Queen
2. "Toxic" -- Britney Spears
3. "Billie Jean" -- Michael Jackson
4. "Hotel California" -- The Eagles
5. "La Tortura" -- Shakira
6. "Smells Like Teen Spirit" -- Nirvana

9. "Imagine" -- John Lennon
