www.chinaview.cn 2005-12-26 21:01:58

JERUSALEM, Dec. 26 (Xinhuanet) -- Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, who suffered a minor stroke on Dec. 18, is to return to hospital next month to receive more heart treatment, his doctors said on Monday.

Sharon will undergo a medical procedure to fix a small hole in his heart to prevent future blood clots, the doctors said.

The doctors also released a medical report concerning Sharon's health condition at a news conference held on Monday.   The 77-year-old Sharon, who was sent to hospital last Sunday due to a minor stroke, is widely expected to head his newly-founded Kadima party to win the March general elections.  Enditem
