BAGHDAD, Dec. 19 (Xinhuanet) -- A car bomb wounded a high ranking police officer and his six bodyguards in west of Baghdad on Monday, police sources told Xinhua.

"The car bomb attacked the convoy of the head of the police station of Dora district, destroying one car," the sources said.
