Premier Wen concludes visit to Malaysia

    KUALA LUMPUR, Dec. 15 (Xinhuanet) -- Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao left here on Thursday afternoon for home after concluding a one-day official visit to Malaysia.

    During his stay in Malaysia, Wen attended the 9th China-ASEAN and ASEAN Plus China, Japan and Republic of Korea Summit and the first East Asia Summit, and met leaders from the ASEAN countries and other countries coming for these events.

    During his visit to Malaysia, Wen met with Malaysia's Supreme Head of State Sultan Tuanku Syed Sirajudd in Syed Putra Jamalullail and held talks with Malaysian Prime Minister Abdullah Badawi. The two sides exchanged views on a series of regional and international issues of common concern.

    Wen arrived here on Sunday after visiting France, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Portugal. Enditem
