Vodafone wins auction for Telsim

    ANKARA, Dec. 13 (Xinhuanet) -- Vodafone Telecummunication Corp. from Britain won the auction on Tuesday for Telsim, second biggest GSM operator in Turkey, after offering 4.55 billion U.S. dollars,the highest bid.

    Savings Deposits Insurance Fund (TMSF) conducted the auction to sell Telsim, the semi-official Anatolia news agency reported.Enditem
