HARBIN, Dec. 13 -- A Young man in Harbin, northeastern Heilongjiang Province was recently acquitted of charges of harassment for breaking into his neighbor's home several times.

Jin Bo cleaned his female neighbor's home, left snacks and a note, and also fixed her computer, the Xiangfang District People's Court was told.

Police detained him on the night of Nov. 15 after Jin was found walking out of her home with two of her photos, a key to the apartment, a bra and a MP3 player.

Jin confessed to breaking into her home five times between Oct. 5 and Nov. 15, but insisted he had no intention but to make friends with her. Jin said he loved her secretly, but couldn't muster up enough courage to speak to her. He placed a bet with his roommate that he would win her heart.

Then one night he broke into her home but fled the moment she woke up.

Jin said he did the laundry, washed the dishes, scrubbed the floor, and tidied her wardrobe every time he came. He also left food and a note saying: "Don't panic. I hope you can understand my feelings for you."

Jin said he took her bra and photos out of love for her. He also explained that he was taking away the MP3 player, which was broken, for repairs.
