RAMALLAH, Dec. 12 (Xinhuanet) -- Israeli army has foiled a possible bombing attack in a operation in the West Bank city of Nablus by arresting six suspects, Israel Radio said on Monday.
Backed by several armor vehicles and military jeeps, Israeli army stormed Nablus Monday morning on a tip-off that a Palestinian militant intends to carry out a bombing attack against Israeli targets, the radio said.
At least six Palestinians were arrested in the three-hour operation, including members of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), it added.
Israeli soldiers surrounded several houses and forced the residents inside to evacuate, Palestinian witnesses said. Enditem |
