KABUL, Dec. 11 (Xinhuanet) -- A suicide bomb attack Sunday noon injured three civilians in Afghan southern Kandahar province, a local official said.

"The attacker had installed the bomb on his body and waited at the roadside, when the US troops were passing by, he blew up himself. Three civilians were injured, and one of them is in bad condition," criminal department chief of Kandahar Sayed Ghafar told Xinhua.

"The attacker does not look like local persons, and we will confirm his nationality afterwards," he added.

Coalition spokesperson Mike Cody said there is no report of any casualty in Coalition side.

Taliban militants this year have used the way of suicide to attack Afghan and foreign troops. Till now more than 10 times of suicide attacks happened in the country. Enditem
