JERUSALEM, Dec. 8 (Xinhuanet) -- An Israeli was stabbed to death at a checkpoint near Jerusalem, Israel Radio said on Thursday.

    The Israeli was stabbed in the neck by a Palestinian at the Qalandiya checkpoint between Jerusalem and the West Bank city of Ramallah, the radio said.

    The assailant was later arrested, it added.

    The incident came as Israel resumed air strikes in the northern Gaza Strip, killing one Palestinian militants and wounding several others. Enditem
