Passenger shot over threat at Miami Airport

    WASHINGTON, Dec. 8 (Xinhuanet) -- A US air marshal on Wednesday fired shots on a passenger who was considered to do something threatening, CNN reported.

    Shots have been fired on board an American Airline plane at Miami airport when a passenger was believed to do something threatening, the report said.

    The plane stopped at Miami International Airport en route to Orlando.

    A federal official said that the passenger was wounded, CNN said. Enditem
