GAZA, Dec. 8 (Xinhuanet) -- Israeli airforce shelled southern Gaza on Wednesday, killing at least one people and wounding eight others, Palestinian medics said.

    An Israeli aircraft fired a missile at a Palestinian car in the southern Gaza town of Rafah, said the medics.

    Israeli army had no immediate comment on the attack.

    After a suicide bomber from the Islamic Jihad (Holy War) killed five Israelis in the northern Israeli city Netanya on Monday, Israel has vowed to take harsher actions against Palestinian militants including targeted killings. Enditem
