Military plane crashes in Iran

    TEHRAN, Dec. 6 (Xinhuanet) -- An Iranian military plane with dozens on board crashed into a 10-story building in the capital on Tuesday, local ISNA news agency reported.

    Casualties were feared to be high since there were over 90 passengers aboard the C-130 aircraft which plunged into a densely-populated residential area, another news agency said.

    The plane, which was on ablaze together with the building,crashed as it was trying to make an emergency landing shortly after it took off from Tehran's Mehrabad airport, the report said. Enditem
