France criticizes Britain's EU budget proposal

    PARIS, Dec. 6 (Xinhuanet) -- French Foreign Minister Philippe Douste-Blazy said on Monday that Britain's proposal for the EU's next long-term budget was unlikely to lead to an agreement.

    "These proposals do not seem to be of a nature to lead to the agreement for which we all wish," the French foreign minister said in a statement. Enditem
