GAZA, Dec. 5 (Xinhuanet) -- Sami Abu Zuhri, spokesman of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in the Gaza Strip, unveiled Monday the movement's program to race in the upcoming legislative elections set for Jan. 25 on clean government platform.

Abu Zuhri said in press statements that Hamas election program includes its position on political, social, economic, cultural and health care areas for serving the Palestinian people.

Hamas program also includes reforming the state of chaos as well as finding solutions to several social problems and treating what he called financial and administrative chaos and fighting the poverty and employment prevailing in the Palestinian society, he added.

He asserted that Hamas seeks to form an alliance inside the Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC) to form a big parliamentary group seeking to carry out the project for the people's sake.

Meanwhile, Abu Zuhri said that Hamas will support independent candidates inside and outside the PLC, who intend to run in the elections, adding that among the candidates, there are should be several senior characters in the Gaza Strip and West Bank.

Our elections campaign would be free from all military phenomena and armed shows which are rejected according to the elections law. Hamas will be the first to be committed to the condition, Abu Zuhri highlighted. Enditem
