GAZA, Dec. 3 (Xinhuanet) -- Israeli F16 warplanes fired at midnight on Saturday two rockets at opened fields in northern Gaza Strip, in retaliation to firing homemade rockets from Gaza at Israel, Palestinian security sources and witnesses reported.

The missile landed into an empty lot in the area and caused aloud explosion, said the witnesses, adding there were no casualties in the attack.

    An Israeli army spokeswoman confirmed the air strike, saying it came in response to earlier rocket attacks by militants from the coastal strip into Israel. Enditem
