BAGHDAD, Dec. 3 (Xinhuanet) -- Ten Iraqi soldiers were killed and several others wounded in a bomb attack and following clash with insurgents north of Baghdad on Saturday, a police source said.

    The incident took place in Adhaim, about 100 km north of Baghdad, when a roadside bomb exploded near an Iraqi military patrol, said the source.

    Following the bombing, insurgents mounted an attack on the Iraqi soldiers, the source added.

    The bloody incident came shortly after the US military announced that 14 US soldiers were killed in Iraq during the past two days. Enditem
