4 more US soldiers killed in Iraq

    BAGHDAD, Dec. 3 (Xinhuanet) -- Four more US soldiers have been killed in Iraq, the Pentagon said in a statement on Saturday.

    A Marine died of wounds sustained when his vehicle was hit by arocket on Thursday in the Iraqi town of Ramadi, 110 km west of Baghdad.

    Three soldiers were killed Friday in a vehicle accident near Balad, 90 km north of Baghdad.

    The US military on Friday announced that 10 Marine were killed and 11 others were injured by a roadside bomb on a foot patrol near Fallujah, 50 km west of the country's capital, the deadliest attack against American troops since August.

    The death toll of US service personnel in Iraq has reached 2,125 beginning from March 2003, the Pentagon announced on Friday.Enditem
