Nation to experience warmer Dec.: CMA forecast

    BEIJING, Dec. 2 (Xinhuanet) -- The temperature in December will be higher than the average level in the previous years in most parts of China, said a forecast by China Meteorological Administration (CMA) on Friday.

    The temperatures will be about one degree Celsius higher than the average levels in the previous years in northeastern Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, northwestern China and western Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.

    The average temperature in November stood at 6.8 degrees Celsius, 1.6 degrees Celsius higher than the average figure in the previous years, said Wang Bangzhong, deputy director of the CMA's weather forecast and disaster relief department.

    The precipitation in November stood at 25.4 millimeters, close to the average figure of 26.3 millimeters in the previous years. Enditem
