Annual central conference to guide 2006 economic work

    BEIJING, Dec. 1 (Xinhuanet) -- The annual central economic conference was held here from Nov. 29 to Dec. 1, to guide China's economic work in 2006.

    The conference, held by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council, produced guidance, overall demands and major tasks for China's economic work in 2006.

    Chinese President Hu Jintao and Premier Wen Jiabao delivered keynote speeches at the conference. Enditem
