A six-legged robot "Asterisk" moves across a netted ceiling during a demonstration at the 2005 International Robot Exhibition in Tokyo Nov. 30. The robot, which can be used for disaster rescue and security checks, is on display at the world's largest robotics trade show that is being held until Dec. 3.

Kimono-clad dancing robots. These "Eco-robots" combines cutting-edge technology with traditional performing arts and are priced at 120,000 yen ($1,004) each.
