KUALA LUMPUR, Nov. 25 (Xinhuanet) -- Malaysian Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi asked the police authorities not to "hide" any facts in the probe to a woman, believed to be a Chinese national who was forced to do squats in front of a woman in police uniform, national news agency Bernama reported on Friday.

Badawi, who was attending the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Malta, said that he had told Deputy Police Inspector-General Musa Hassan that the incident must be probed thoroughly and immediately, according to Bernama.

Badawi, who is also Malaysia's Internal Security Minister, said that there should be no cover-up at all and he did not want anybody to hide the bare facts obtained from the investigations.

Teresa Kok, a Malaysian parliament member, Thursday showed a video footage to several ministers and parliament members, featuring a naked Chinese woman doing squats watched by a woman in police uniform in a room with some lookers, Bernama said.

The ministers and parliament members expressed disgust with the way the naked woman was treated after watching the video clip, it added.

Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister Najib Razak also said that Malaysia would carry out a thorough investigation into the video evidence and his country would not protect the perpetrators, according to Bernama. Enditem
