JAKARTA, Nov. 23 (Xinhuanet) -- A book written by an Indonesian terrorist awaiting his execution has been printed in its third edition but still no book stores can keep them too long in display due to high demand, local media reports said Wednesday.

The book titled "Saya Melawan Teroris" (Me Against Terrorists) was written by Imam Samudra, 35, who has been sent to death row for leading role in the Oct. 12, 2002 nightclub bombings on Bali island, in which 202 people were killed.

The 281-page book has been printed in 12,000 copies since last September, depicting Samudra's political beliefs, anti-US sentiment and the pretext behind the Bali bombings, reported the Detikcom online news service.

"After the third edition, I decided not to make more copies," said Bambang Sukirno, director of Central Java based Jazera Publishing Company which printed the book. He didn't explain the reasons behind his decision.

But the government, now intensifying efforts against extremism in the world's most populous Muslim nation, has announced a plan to review the book and considers banning the sales.

The sale of Samudra's book exceeds that of two other books carrying terrorism as their central theme. The two are "People Say Father is Terrorist" written by Paridah Abas, whose husband Ali Ghufron now in death row for the similar case with Samudra's, and "Uncovering Jemaah Islamiyah" written by Nasir Abas, the brother of Paridah.

The two books are also published by Jazera. Enditem
