Medical workers visit the Wangjia Village office to publicize prevention knowledge of bird flu epidemic in the town of Duanjia in Heishan County, northeast China's Liaoning Province, Nov. 16. A total of 360 medical workers of 72 teams have been deployed to all villages where bird flu cases have been reported, in Heishan County. They organize about 72,000 villagers to be taken temperatures each day, and diagnose and treat patients who have a fever. The medical workers also carry out disinfection and epidemic surveys in a bid to build a barrier between the people and the bird flu epidemic. (Xinhua)
