HARBIN, Nov. 22, (xinhuanet) -- All primary and
middle schools in the urban areas of Harbin, capital of northeast China's
Heilongjiang Province, will suspend classes from Nov. 23 to 30 for fear that
catering and sanitation can not be secured due to the upcoming water supply
cut-off.
Sources from Harbin Bureau of Education released that
primary and middle students will have a lesson on safety on Wednesday morning
and then be dismissed.
During no-class period, teachers will communicate
with their students via Internet and phones, and be on duty in school by turns.
After class resumes, the teachers will manage to help students make up the
missed lessons.
