    ¡¡BAGHDAD, Nov. 22 (Xinhuanet) -- A mortar fired by insurgents exploded on Tuesday during a ceremony in the Iraqi city of Tikrit where the US forces were handing over a former presidential palace to local Iraqi authorities.

    One person was injured in the blast at the ceremony attended by US ambassador to Iraq Zalmay Khalilzad and other top officials. Enditem
