Nike jet plane makes emergency landing in Oregon

    WASHINGTON, Nov. 21 (Xinhuanet) -- A Nike Inc. corporate jet planecarrying company executives made a safe emergency landing on Monday in the northwestern US state of Oregon, shortly after landing gear problems were discovered after take-off.

    The landing gear of the plane, a Gulfstream jet, jammed after take-off from Hillsboro Airport in Portland, but was unstuck afterits crew consulted with Gulfstream, news reports said.

    The plane, with four company executives and three crew members aboard, was bound for Toronto, Canada. It circled for hours burning off fuel before making emergency landing at the same airport. Enditem
