AMMAN, Nov. 15 (Xinhuanet) -- Eleven Jordanian officials resigned on Tuesday following deadly suicide bombing attacks in the Jordanian capital last Wednesday, the state-run television reported.

King Abdullah II appointed Marouf al-Bakhit, Jordan's ambassador to Israel, to replace outgoing security chief Saad Kheir.

The report made no reference to the attacks, which killed more than 60 people and wounded over 100.

Al-Qaida branch in Iraq claimed responsibility for the attacks on three Amman hotels.  Enditem
