India: Srinagar man was Delhi blast planner

    NEW DELHI, Nov. 13 (Xinhuanet) -- Delhi Police said Sunday that a man arrested in Srinagar was "one of the key planners" of the triple bombings in the capital on Oct. 29, that killed nearly 70 people and injured over 200.

    Police said Tariq Ahmed Dar, who apparently works for a multinational company and is a postgraduate in chemistry, was actually a Lashker-e-Taiba (LeT) militant who was arrested in Srinagar Friday after the Indian army intercepted a wireless message in the valley.

    "He is one of the key planners of the serial blasts," Indo-Asian News Service quoted Ajay Kumar, Deputy Commissioner of Police, as saying. He added that senior officials from the Intelligence Bureau and Special Cell were questioning Dar. Enditem
