7 Brazilians killed in traffic accident in Japan

    TOKYO, Nov. 13 (Xinhuanet) -- Seven Brazilians were killed and three people wounded on Sunday in a seven-vehicle pile-up on a highway in western Japan, the Kyodo news agency quoted police as saying.

    The seven victims, aged from 18 to 24, were all factory workersin the city of Hino, Shiga Prefecture. They were killed when a truck smashed into them as they stood in the breakdown lane.

    The van they had been in was involved in a smaller collision with another truck.

    The highway was shut down for several hours for the accident. Enditem
