Traffic accident kills 6, injures 22 in Guizhou
www.chinaview.cn 2005-11-10 02:06:41

GUIYANG, Nov. 9 (Xinhuanet) -- A major traffic accident killed six and injured 22 others in Guiding County of southwest China's Guizhou Province on Wednesday, according to local police.

Six of the injured are in serious condition, according to the police.

At about 0:20 a.m. on Wednesday, police were dealing with head-rear collisions of four automobiles due to slippery road condition, but no casualties were caused by the accidents.

At about 1:00 a.m., however, a truck crushed into the already sealed-off section of the expressway at high speed, totally ignoring warning signals on the road and police direction. The follow-up collision left six dead and 22 injured on the spot. Enditem
