GAZA, Nov. 8 (Xinhuanet) -- Well-informed Palestinian sources said on Tuesday that Jordan's King Abdullah II will visit the Palestinian territories on Nov. 14.

"The correct date of King Abdullah's visit is Monday next weekand not Wednesday as announced by mistake by Qurei," said the sources.

Palestinian Prime Minister Ahmed Qurei had announced earlier Tuesday in a press conference that King Abdullah will visit the West Bank city of Ramallah tomorrow on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, official Israeli sources also confirmed that King Abdullah's visit to the region would be in the next week, adding that he would attend the memorials for assassinated Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin.

King Abdullah was supposed to visit in Israel and the Palestinian territories in October, but he postponed this visit due to the deteriorated security situations in the region.Enditem
