Major aftershock hits Pakistan's Balakot

    BALAKOT, Pakistan, Nov. 6 (Xinhuanet) -- A strong aftershock was felt Sunday morning in Balakot in northwest Pakistan, an area hit by a 7.6-magnitidue quake on Oct. 8.

    Chinese seismologists put the magnitude of the latest aftershock at 5.3 on the open-ended Richter scale.

    Last Wednesday, Pakistan's chief relief, Major General Farooq Ahmad Khan, put the toll of the quake at 73,276. A total of 69,260 people were injured in the disaster. Enditem
