BEIJING, Oct. 31 (Xinhuanet) -- Beijing will build 360 kilometers of expressway in the coming five years, according to Beijing Capital Road Development Company Limited.

The total investment in the projects will reach 40 billion yuan (4.82 billion US dollars).

The company signed agreements on the separate occasions with the Beijing branch of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China and the Beijing branch of China Construction Bank on cooperation from 2006 to 2010.

These agreements will provide firm financial support for the above-mentioned expressway construction, according to the company.

Beijing Vice Mayor Ji Lin said since Beijing will host the 2008 Olympic Games, the city's infrastructure construction has attracted wide attention.

He hoped cooperation between the company and banks will be a win-win one and achieve satisfactory results, Ji said. Enditem
