TOKYO, Oct. 28 (Xinhuanet) -- Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi will reshuffle his cabinet and executives of the ruling Liberal Democratic Party next Monday, Kyodo News reported Friday.
Koizumi unveiled the schedule at a meeting of LDP executives and explained it later in the day to Takenori Kanzaki, head of the New Komeito party, the LDP's coalition partner.
According to Kyodo, Koizumi told Kanzaki he will appoint people with potential as future prime ministers to key posts of his Cabinet to further promote his reforms.
Kanzaki told Koizumi that the New Komeito party will continue to support Koizumi's government by sending one of its lawmakers as a Cabinet member.
