URGENT: Dead duck found positive for avian flu in Sweden, virus type unclear

    STOCKHOLM, Oct. 22 (Xinhuanet) -- Sweden's National Veterinary Institute said on Saturday a duck found dead east of the capital the day before tested positive for avian flu, but it was not yet known if it was the deadly H5N1 strain.

    The institute said it is carrying out additional analysis and the results of the tests are due late Sunday. Enditem
