URGENT: Kidnapped Irish journalist freed in Iraq

    LONDON, Oct. 20 (Xinhuanet) -- Britain's Guardian newspaper said Thursday its journalist Rory Carroll, who was abducted in Iraq, had been released unharmed.

    Carroll, 33, an Irish citizen who is the Guardian's Baghdad correspondent, was on assignment when he was abducted by gunmen onWednesday. Enditem
