NEW DELHI, Oct. 19 (Xinhuanet) -- Two civilians were killed Wednesday when separatist guerrillas attacked a police group in an Indian-controlled Jammu and Kashmir town, according to Indo-Asian News Service.

The incident happened in the saffron-rich town of Pampore in Pulwama, 14 km from Srinagar, capital of Indian-controlled Kashmir, one day after Indian-controlled Kashmir education minister Ghulam Nabi Lone and four others were killed when terrorists barged into Srinagar's high security Tulsi Bagh area.

Police said Wednesday's incident killed two civilians on the spot and wounded 10 others, including a police officer. Enditem
