YAOUNDE, Oct. 17 (Xinhuanet) -- All the overseas Chinese in Cameroon on Monday
hailed the safe return of the re-entry capsule of Shenzhou-6, China's second
manned spacecraft.
"All of us, the overseas Chinese here in Cameroon, are very happy with and
inspired by the success of China's second manned space mission," said a joint
statement issued by the Chinese Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Cameroon and
the Cameroon Association for Promoting China's Peaceful Reunification.
The success of Shenzhou-6 showed a landmark progress in the development of
China's space technology, the statement noted.
The re-entry capsule of Shenzhou-6, carrying Chinese astronautsFei Junlong
and Nie Haisheng, landed on earth safely at 4:33 a.m. Beijing time Monday
(2033GMT Sunday), marking a "complete success"of China's second manned space
