Aerial rescue team arrives at appointed area of primary landing site for Shenzhou-6

    SIZIWANG Banner, Inner Mongolia, Oct. 17 (Xinhuanet) -- The aerial rescue team reported early Monday morning they had arrived at the appointed area of the primary landing site in Siziwang Banner (county), Inner Mongolia, waiting for the landing of Shenzhou-6, China's second manned spacecraft.

    The rescuers got to the place by four helicopters plus two stand-by copter

    The two taikonauts, Fei Junlong and Nie Haisheng, aboard Shenzhou-6 which blasted off Wednesday morning, reported to ground control earlier they were making preparations for return.

    The latest weather forecast shows that weather conditions in the landing site are in favor of the spacecraft's landing. Enditem
