BEIJING, Oct. 17 (Xinhuanet) -- The re-entry capsule of China's second manned spacecraft Shenzhou-6 has just departed from the propulsion module and its speed is being reduced on the way back to the Earth, Xinhua learned.
The Beijing Aerospace Command and Control Center early Monday morning sent a message to Shenzhou-6 instructing it to return to the Earth as planned.
The spacecraft, shown on a three-dimensional screen in the control center, made a gentle turnaround upon receiving the order.
The spacecraft had made two adjustments of its attitude for the return, followed by the separation of the re-entry capsule from the orbital module and of the re-entry capsule from the propulsion module. The re-entry capsule is expected to land in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region soon. Enditem
