British fighter jet crashes into sea

    LONDON, Oct. 14 (Xinhuanet) -- A Royal Air Force (RAF) Tornado fighter jet crashed into the sea off the east coast of Scotland on Friday, the Ministry of Defence said, adding that the two crewmen ejected and had been rescued.

    The plane crashed shortly after take-off and the reason for the crash was unknown, a spokeswoman for the ministry said. Enditem
