LONDON, Oct. 8 (Xinhuanet) -- Ten men had been arrested by police investigating suspected terrorists in London and Central England, Scotland Yard said on Saturday.

    The police said it was a separate operation from investigation into the July 7 London bombings which killed 52 people and wounded hundreds more.

    Three were arrested by Metropolitan Police anti-terror officers in Croydon, east London, four in Wolverhampton and three in Derby, both in Central England, after police raided three locations Saturday morning.

    All the men are being held on suspicion of commission and preparation for instigation of acts of terrorism, police said. Enditem
