Romania detects first case of bird flu

    BUCHAREST, Oct. 7 (Xinhuanet) -- Romania detected on Friday its first case of avian flu in domestic birds in the Danube delta, Agriculture Minister Gheorghe Flutur said.

    The minister would not comment whether the flu was the deadly H5N1 strain. Enditem
