Annan recommends Kosovo status talks begin

    UNITED NATIONS, Oct. 7 (Xinhuanet) -- UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan on Friday recommended to the Security Council that international talks begin on whether the Serb province of Kosovo be given independence or remain a part of Serbia. Enditem
