JAKARTA, Oct. 6 (Xinhuanet) -- At least 74 people were reported missing in the wake of the second bombing attacks in Bali, Indonesia.

"The data are based on complaints from people who have lost contact with those who used to have regular contacts with them," coordinator of the Crisis Center of the Sanglah Hospital Jean Lumyin Bali said on Thursday.

It was said that most of the missing ones were Indonesians, while some others were tourists with whom colleagues or travel agents have lost contact, Antara news agency reported.

Jean said the data is constantly being updated, because the crisis center is open around-the-clock.

Under standard procedures, after receiving reports on people that had gone missing, the Crisis Center remained in contact with those who have made the reports, instead of intensifying coordination with hospitals and the police.

The bombings which took place on Oct. 1 in two areas in the resort island killed 26 people and wounded more than 120 others. Enditem
