GAZA, Oct. 3 (Xinhuanet) -- The Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC) which was holding a session in Gaza and Ramallah through video conference suspended the session on Monday after several militants broke into the yard of PLC building in Gaza City.
The session discussed the security deterioration in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank following a bloody clash between Hamas militants and police in Gaza City on Sunday.
Three Palestinians were killed and 50 others injured, most of them civilians.
The session was discussing a motion of no-confidence against Prime Minister Ahmed Qurei's cabinet.
Witnesses said police officers shot to the air and called on the PLC to take tough measures against Hamas militants who fired missiles at police stations on Sunday. Enditem
